Farm Equipment Service Technician

(Full Time Position or Part Time Position depending on the canadate)

With Flexible hours as Needed

The ideal candidates possess the ability to:

-Complete accurate diagnostics on agricultural equipment and identify repair solutions that meet customers’ needs.
-Perform equipment repairs and updates as assigned by the Service Manager
-Manage time and multiple assignments as well as maintenance projects while ensuring accuracy of work
-Attend and participate in all job-related training and development opportunities (some air travel and overnight trips may be required)
-Create detailed written reports for repair estimates and work performed in conjunction to work order assignments
-Develop and maintain knowledge of equipment and products supported by our company
-Work as a team with Service Manager, Sales staff and Parts team to best serve customers and meet company objectives
-Maintain condition of company vehicles, inventory, facilities, tools and equipment (Candidate must have clean driver’s license)

Skills and Qualifications

-Demonstrated knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the diagnosis and repair of agricultural equipment
-In depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, powertrain and hydraulics systems in agricultural equipment
-Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Outstanding communication and team skills
-Desire to learn and continue to grow with the ever-changing agricultural industry
